Undergraduate admissions
The average GPA of admitted students is between 2.5 and 3.5, and the middle 50% of admitted students fall within this range. Bowie State University has a test-optional policy, so students with a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher can be admitted without SAT or ACT scores.
Graduate admissions
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
MBA admissions
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Applicants must also take the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) or have three to five years of managerial experience.
Doctoral admissions
Applicants must have a master's degree from an accredited institution and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 for all previous graduate studies.
